Meet Shania Janel—Baltimore’s own powerhouse of movement, joy, and faith! She discovered her love for choreography at eleven, creating to Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control." Janel has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, and 15 years of liturgical dance. She became a church dance instructor at just fifteen. Now an AMDA LA B.F.A. graduate, Shania’s purpose radiates self-love, unity, and education. She’s lit up AMDA’s Moving Pictures, BSU’s Spring Fashion Show, and collaborated with Beneeto and Toyalove. Offstage, she’s painting, hiking, cliff jumping—or watching 'Touched By an Angel'—Shes not only paving the way for herself but the next generation!
